"I got this product yesterday at my birthday party. It took about two hours to build it. Overall i was very impressed. It looked much better than Darth Vaders T.I.E Advanced fighter. The wings do tend to fall off at the slightest touch. The price is reasonable but i would suggest asking for it as a present for christmas or your birthday. The T.I.E pilot is sweet but he has the same helmet as the AT-AT driver from the snowtrooper battle pack but colored diverently. The cockpit has little detail on the interior but all the detail is on the exterior. I mean Its a gorgeous set! The minifigures are sweet also. The new pilot design is a welcome change from the old one. And I love how they throw in a random stormtrooper. (that doesn't usually happen) I havent had many legos in a couple of years so im a rusty builder. Luckily this was an easy set to build. My advice, Look out Rebels!!!"

This was a great set that I was excited about from the moment that I saw it. I have always been a fan of the Imperial Lego products, and this was a great addition to my fleet. This set is fun to build and holds up well durring play. It stands up well on a shelf on its own, and isn't too large to display easily. The two Minifigs included are great as well. The new TIE pilot redesign looks good, and the extra Stormtrooper is always great to have around. The set is a little expensive but is really worth the money."

For starters, this is one of the greatest lego sets I have ever purchased. I've always been a fan of the Star Wars Expanded Universe, and I'm so excited that they are finally releasing sets like these. I hope they continue to release EU sets! (such as the Rogue Shadow) The unique cockpit has to be the climax of the set, it turns so smoothly and with little effort. The wings are incredibly stable and can withstand even the heaviest of strains. If this is a continuation of the TIE series of fighters, I believe they should continue. I hope they're revitalizing the TIE series in a sleeker form, as they've already remade Darth Vader's TIE Advanced. The look on my face when I saw this was priceless I'm sure. Any great Star Wars fan, or lego fan at that, should definatly buy this set."
