I just purchased this set today. It took me only 45 minutes. It was a fun build though. I really like the rocket battle droids that come with this set. It looks a lot better than the original (which my brother has). I really like the color scheme; the navy blue looks nice. The inclusion of the missiles on the bottom is cool. I wish it also came with a buzz droid though.

This is a great set if you need a droid fighter . It only comes with three droid mini-figs though: 2 the rocket batledroids that are seen with the hyena droid bomber and then the battle droid commander. You can barely tell the commander is a commander because of he has a tiny dot on the torso and another dot on the back of his head. They also should have put in buzz droids like the tri-fighter from the 2005 line.
The price was a little high. It should have been 15 to 20$. And I wish they didn't make where you put on the decals. I'd rather them be like the mini-fig decals. They are hard to put on esspecialy the little ones. I'm not a fan to the flick fire rockets ( I've already lost one).
The Tri fighter itself is a cool. When I first saw it I didn't think the ball in the middle would open without breaking but supprisinly it usually works. And even if it didn't work right you could put on to make it stick
